Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program
- CIS 112 (Accelerated Composition & Communication) Coordinator
- Design curriculum, common syllabus, and schedule for Accelerated Composition & Communication. Communicate with and train instructor team during each semester the course is taught. Coordinate service-learning placements for approximately 400 students at over 30 nonprofit organizations in the greater Lexington area, as well as create and maintain relationships with these organizations throughout the academic year. Present key updates from the course to various stakeholders at school, college, and university-wide meetings throughout the academic year.

In June & July 2022, I spent five weeks at the Governor's Scholars Program teaching journalism/mass media and "In the Neighborhood," a class on the life and legacy of Mister Rogers. My journalism/mass media scholars created an online newspaper, The GSPost, and recorded their own weekly podcast series, which can be found on Spotify.

In June & July 2022, I spent five weeks at the Governor's Scholars Program teaching journalism/mass media and "Tomorrow is a Place We Are Together," a class on the power of rituals in our everyday lives. My journalism/mass media scholars created an online newspaper, Centre of Attention, as well as generated a photo-series on "The Centre GSP Experience" to document their time on campus. Additionally, my journalism/mass media scholars recorded their own weekly podcasts, which can be found on Spotify.

Joseph-Beth Booksellers
As both a bookseller and the children's outreach coordinator, I spent my two years at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lexington, KY, designing programming and storytimes for kids of all ages. These events included Reading Nights for local schools, which encouraged literacy development, and Camp Joseph-Beth, an eight-week series of small events and storytimes for kids grades K-6th.
The Kentucky Children's Garden
As an education intern at the Kentucky Children's Garden, I was tasked with designing various components of the garden's curriculum for Pre-K-aged children, including a raised bed, an Arboretum-wide scavenger hunt, and the July programming lesson plans.
